| Position Details SUMMARY This is a handson technical position operating administrating and supporting the companys enterprise Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytic tools Oracle Hyperion Performance Management Applications (Hyperion) and OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in Business Intelligence reporting technologies with a specialty in Hyperion Candidate is considered a SME for the Hyperion stack The candidate will also have a solid data warehouse background and a firm grasp on various database architectures for OLTP ODS and Data Warehouse databases RESPONSIBILITIES 1 Perform handson engineering tasks in the operation and support of Business Intelligence solutions that involve complex largescale (multiterabyte size) data footprints leveraging Hyperion and OBIEE 2 Perform capacity planning activities as related to application usage of resources that include storage CPU memory and network utilization 3 Optimize the Hyperion and OBIEE environments with respect to performance storage report integrity system reliability and system availability 4 Develop tooling to better automate operations support and monitoring tasks 5 Liaise with the vendor and external support on issues such as upgrades technical problems and solutions 6 Provide all aspects of technical and consultative support of the Production environment 7 Develop and maintain all aspects of the documentation for the operations administration support and processes 8 Provide ongoing support of existing standards and processes as well as continually reevaluate those processes and techniques for increased accuracy efficiency and maintainability 9 Create auditing and governors to limit user impact to overall system performance and availability 10 Responsible for EndtoEnd Performance and Availability of the Hyperion Products running across 15 servers for 1200 end users QUALIFICATIONS Required 1 8+ years of experience required in related field (ie Hyperion AdministrationSupportInstallationConfiguration and Maintaining) 2 Must be experienced in the following products a Hyperion Strategic Finance b Oracle Hyperion Planning c Oracle Hyperion Essbase i 20 Reporting Cubes ii 2 Planning Cubes d Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting e Oracle Hyperion Web Analysis f Informatica Essbase Integration Adapter g Essbase Integration Services i Connects to Enterprise Data warehouse running on Exadata 3 Experience with Hyperion version 111135 4 Expert in all aspects of Hyperion features and functionality 5 3+ years of Oracle database experience 6 4+ years of Windows Server 2003 andor 2008 experience 7 General understanding of Web Logic middleware Preferred 1 BSBA in related discipline strongly preferred (ie MIS CS and Engineering etc) 2 Experience with Hyperion version 11122 preferred 3 Experience with OBIEE version 101341 or version 11115 a plus 4 Performance tuning of PLSQL queries a plus 5 Experience operating and supporting large Enterprise Reporting systems 6 Experience with dimensional data modeling star and snowflake schema COMPANY OVERVIEW Cox Communications and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers We have a tradition of encouraging a wide diversity of talents through a broad range of hiring practices Please note those individuals submitting resumes online or by mailing a resume are not considered an applicant for employment until a signed employment application form is completed usually at the time of interview For more information about Cox Communications and its subsidiaries please click here wwwcoxcom wwwcoxmediacom wwwcoxbusinesscom Statement to ALL Third Party Agencies and Similar Organizations Cox Communications accepts resumes only from agencies with which we formally engage their services Please do not forward resumes to our applicant tracking system Cox Communications employees or send to any Cox Communications facility Cox Communications is not responsible for any fees or charges associated with unsolicited resumes |
