located in our San Diego California headquarters your primary objective will be to develop applications frameworks and middleware for the next generation of Android and iOS devices Please note that some relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified nonlocal candidates In this role you will utilize your expertise in application framework and middleware development using C C++ andor Java This is not a position for the developer who wants a deep narrow focus in one area of technology Instead for the candidate who seeks to get their hands dirty and wants to work in a multitude of areas centered around embedded Android and iOS technologies this opportunity is certain to provide the autonomy you crave One week you could be designing an Android application suite from scratch while the next you could turn and work strictly on a new graphics interface for an existing solution and the following week developing an iOS framework Your experience in embedded systems development in Java CC++ Objective C and experience using development tools such as Eclipse Git XCode andor the SDK and NDK tool chain will serve as the foundation to your project success Experience with the UI framework of Android andor iOS using surfaceflinger and layout managers among other UI components in addition to experience with OpenGL OpenGL ES will aid in your ability to deliver quality Tactel
