| Are you an Information Systems Security and Compliance expert Do you pride yourself in knowing and adhering to rules and regulations You could have a powerful future with APS Arizona Public Service (APS) is leading the way to a sustainable energy future With 33 billion in annual revenue and nearly 7000 employees APS is the largest electric utility in Arizona serving 11 million customers We are the principal subsidiary of publicly traded Pinnacle West Capital Corporation (NYSEPNW) Our generation fleet includes natural gas nuclear coal and growing renewable technologies Senior IT Regulatory Analyst Job 20130019 Phoenix AZ We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to be responsible for the development implementation and administration of IT regulatory compliance and licensing programs in assigned area You will achieve success through performing the following duties Initiate coordinate research analyze prepare and maintain a variety of documentation such as licensing applications and renewals regulatory requirements and communications compliance governance findingissue summaries responses and other materials relating to compliancelicensing regulations and procedures Evaluate impact of regulatory decisions in area of expertise and direct changes to processes procedures and documentation Interpret and advise on new and changing federal state and other regulatory agencies rules and regulations Develop and deliver awareness training and oversight related to licensingregulatory issues within assigned area Lead the performance of audits and spot checks of existing processes procedures IT systems and associated compliance evidence to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Provide direction and training to IT Regulatory Analysts Develop andor administer one or more regulatory programs which may include policy creation communication compliance and interpretation Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree or any combination of 4 years relevant work experience and completed years of relevant college coursework 7 years progressively responsible experience demonstrating working knowledge of IT federal and state rules and regulations companybusiness unit operations compliance policies procedures andor programs in area of assignment Must have at least 1 year experience working with one or more of the following in a program development role o Sarbanes Oxley o NERC CIP o Export Control o HIPAA Working knowledge of specialized instruments tools drawings maps etc utilized within area of assignment Strong research analytical interpretive and organizational skills are required Ability to perform mathematical calculations utilized within area of assignment typically gained by coursework in algebra and trigonometry Proficiency in collaboration spreadsheet word processing graphics and other software applications utilized within area of assignment Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Youll enjoy a competitive package of compensation and benefits including medical dental vision and retirement plans Visit our website today for more information httpjobsapscom AAEO Employer by choice |
