| IBM Lead Engineer - Montgomery, AL Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. This effort is to support the client Security Services Infrastructure Environment. Primary hours of support are between 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. On-call support is required on a rotating basis. Weekend and after hours support will be required at times to support package deployments and issue resolution. Specific job duties include: Acts as Lead Engineer in support of the suite of IBM products. Mentors junior engineers and provides training on the IBM products deployed. Deploys Security Services Infrastructure releases into the preproduction and production environments. Leads troubleshooting and process improvement efforts for the Security Services Tier. Analyses Security Services Tier performance. Performs Integration and final verification checks of Security Services after deployment to the preproduction environment and prior to deployment to production. Performs Operations and Maintenance of the client Security. Services preproduction and production environments. Performs outage and recovery notification. Required Skills: UNIX (Red Hat Linux 4.0 or later and/or Solaris 8.0 or later). Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the following: IBM Tivoli Access Manager (6.0 or later). IBM Tivoli Identify Manager (5.0 or later). IBM Tivoli Federated Identity Manager (6.1 or later). IBM DataPower X150 v3.x.1. Desired Skills: IBM WebSphere Application Server (7.0 or later). CompTIA Security+ certification or higher. Knowledge of infrastructure and environmental knowledge and experience. Experience Required: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline. Candidate must be an effective communicator both oral / written. Candidate should be a strong team player, shares knowledge. Candidate should demonstrate drive, initiative, and take ownership of tasks. Candidate must have a CompTIA Security+ certification or higher w/in 60 days of hire. Candidate must have an appropriate Computing Environment certification per DoDD 8570.01. MUST BE A US CITIZEN Security Clearance: SECRET with SBBI or Top Secret.
