| POSITION OVERVIEW The Sr Quality Assurance Engineer is categorized as an individual with 5 to 7 years Software Quality Assurance (SQA) experience This individual has a solid understanding of QA processes methodologies and approaches with respect to software development Experience includes software development life cycle analyzing design requirements and specifications writing test strategies test plans gathering test data and developing basic test tools used to test the functional requirements Knowledgeable in tracking and reporting defects as well as analyzing defect metric trends Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently with guided but minimal supervision Wellversed in software industry best practices and SQA techniques that allow himher to apply the appropriate quality levels in order to meet business objectives and reduce business risk QUALIFICATIONS Computer Science or related major preferred A minimum of 6 years experience in Software Quality Assurance A minimum of 23 years experience Windows clientserver and web based applications required Strong SQL and other Microsoft development environment skills (eg VBnet Cnet) Must possess strong SQL knowledge and experience to develop and troubleshoot TSQL test scripts Requires experience in writing and debugging C code for test automation development Strong experience with QA processes and methodologies required automated and manual test processes black box white box test case design Experience using automation tools such as Quick Test Professional TestPartner Experience with Agile development methodologies a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self motivated and able to work effectively with others to accomplish common goals Healthcare industry experience preferred COMPANY OVERVIEWTC3 Health an Emdeon company is a fastgrowing company based in Irvine CA providing solutions to bridge the gap between their clientsrsquo internal claim management systems and external costcontainment services TC3 offers a number of costcontainment services including fraud code edits repricing and bill management The companyrsquos services are targeted toward the estimated 150 billion in annual healthcare claim overpayments through an integrated electronic process capturing and controlling claims on a prepayment basis to avoid payment errors and the ensuing recovery process This company is an equal opportunity employer Employment is based upon individual merit and qualifications We dont discriminate on the basis of race color religion national origin pregnancy status gender age marital status disability medical condition sexual orientation or any other characteristics protected by law or ethics We will also make all reasonable accommodations to meet our obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state disability laws |
