| Financial firm is looking to become one of the preeminent marketplaces for the trading of equities and ETFs The firmrsquos Development Group is seeking a strong developer who is innovative and delivery focused to play a key role in its highperformance highavailability Market System The developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing functionality designing and developing new functionality testing critical code and delivering changes to production which must meet aggressive deadlines Basic Qualifications Must be very comfortable working on UNIXLinux platform Experience in scripting languages Shell Perl and Python Working knowledge of SQL using Oracle and MySQL Good communication and interpersonal skills Very strong analytical skills very fast learner Ability to work cooperatively in an open team environment striving to achieve team goals Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of C++ andor Java A good understanding of latest web technologies Dojo html5 django AJAX SQLAlchemy jQuery JavaScript Groovy Equity Trading Systems and Financial Protocols knowledge (such as FIX) Requirements 4 year degree in Computer Science or Engineering Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident |
