| JOB LOCATION IS IN OAK BROOK IL OR CHICAGO IL Position Description On Point Technology is a private software company employing technology enthusiasts who deliver services and commercially available webbased software products in support of state workforce agencies On Point Technology is looking for build and release engineer with knowledge of the Microsoft ALM and experience supporting NET software product development using TFS 2012 and InstallShield Responsibilities include but are not limited to Ensure build quality and source code integrity across all products and for all customers Implement and maintain a continuous integration environment for all products Develop policies and procedures governing the branching merging etc of source code Develop and maintain the deployment process (installers shell and database scripts etc) for all products and customers Delivering consistent and repeatable software artifacts based on proven software engineering practices Support engineering and QA use of Microsoft and other technologies such as Windows Server SQL Server SharePoint Visual Studio etc Required Skills Experience administering TFS 2010 or 2012 Expertise automating build processes using MSBuild or equivalent Experience developing and maintaining automated software deployment processes preferably using InstallShield Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science or equivalent Excellent communication and organization skills Selfmotivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment Desired Skills MCSD Application Lifecycle Management certification Knowledge of software testing methods including automated unit testing (NUnit JUnit MSTest etc) Experience with software product development Experience in a continuous integration environment Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall processes Familiarity with multitier application server deployment and maintenance Ability to write compiled andor scripted code This position reports to the technical manager and can be based out of either On Point office in downtown Chicago IL or in Oak Brook IL Diversity Inclusion On Point Technology strives to attract and retain the best people and provide an environment where they can all develop professionally and build a rewarding career As a result we have an environment rich in diversity that acknowledges each individuals uniqueness values his or her skills and contributions and promotes respect personal achievement and stewardship Benefits On Point Technology employees may participate in a variety of benefit programs and make choices based on individual needs and interests An employeersquos compensation package may include Healthcare Benefits (Medical Prescription Drugs Dental and Vision) 401(k) Savings Plan Income Protection Plan (Life and Disability Coverage) Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare and Dependent Custodial Care) PreTax Commuter Benefits Benefit Waiver Allowance Other Information No search firms or employment agencies please |
