| Benihana Inc is an operator of teppanyakistyle restaurants The Company also operates two other Asian restaurant concepts RA Sushi and Haru The Company owns and operates 62 and franchises 16 additional Benihana teppanyaki restaurants It owns and operates 25 RA Sushi and 8 Haru restaurants In August 2012 the Company announced the completion of its acquisition by funds advised by the Private Equity Group of Angelo Gordon Co resulting in the Company no longer being a publicly traded company As we continue our success and growth we are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our organization Human Resources Information Specialist Miami FL ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE PRIOR RECENT HRIS EXPEREINCE COMPUTER IT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED The selected candidate will develop implement update and maintain human resources information system (HRIS) by performing the following duties Confirm accuracy and integrity of all data entered and maintained in the HRIS system company intranet and other databases Ensure information is current and available on a timely basis ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following Support Benihana and the Human Resources Department in the goal to simplify automate and outsource services and processes to maximize productivity and efficiency Maintain the HRIS to ensure system security continued operations reporting efficiency and data integrity Inform IT of software and hardware problems and partner to resolve them Participate in the review testing and implementation of system requirements upgrades patches new reports processes etc Develop implement and modify programs codes tables reports and other systems applications Recommend system design changes upgrades process and customer service improvements and solutions based on efficiency of current system and organizational and departmental needs Identify training needs of end users and train human resources department internal customers on system functionality utilization new processes and procedures Serve as the Human Resources technical point of contact with outside vendors and other departments Respond to technical administrative questions and ensure necessary follow up Write maintain and deliver standard and customized dailyweeklymonthly reports queries graphs charts etc and respond to ad hoc data requests Establish a comprehensive HRIS reports library and schedule for regular file transfers and HRIS activities Perform data analysis data updates exports imports etc as requested Research and resolve HRIS problems such as data transfer issues process flaws data discrepancies and recommend solutions or alternatives to meet business needs Research HRIS vendors to determine if market products match organizational needs and budgets Present options and costs for development implementation and maintenance of HRIS to management Stay apprised and research new technologies and trends related to human resources and keep HR management informed Other duties may be assigned Requirements A Bachelors degree (B A) from fouryear college or university or one to two years related experience andor training or equivalent combination of education and experience Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) Certification or equivalent a plus The qualified candidate MUST have prior Information Systems experience within a HR environment Strong technical skills required Prefer experience with similar sized organization supporting national recruiting efforts We offer a competitive pay and benefits package including health dental life and 401K We are an equal opportunity employer Local candidates preferred no relocation assistance available Apply online today At wwwbenihanacom or email resume to jpickettbenihanacom eoe |
