| The University of Southern California (USC) founded in 1880 is located in the heart of downtown LA and is the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles As an employee of USC you will be a part of a worldclass research university and a member of the Trojan Family which is comprised of the faculty students and staff that make the university what it is USCs Human Resources Division is seeking a Senior Technical Project Lead to join its team The Senior Technical Project Lead will lead the Workday Technical Support unit in the Human Resources Division in managing Workday (human capital management system) configuration updates adoption of new featuresfunctionality testing around releases Works closely with departmental functional leads to ensure Workday functionality aligns with evolving business needs and strategic objectives and with ITSEIS to make certain Workday configuration and data exchanges readily accommodate system integration requirements Must have strong analytic skills and demonstrate Workdayspecific competencies Manages other technology for the division (eg case management tracking workforce analytics) Areas of specialization General Tenant Testing Tenant (Sandbox) Training Tenant Roadmap FunctionalityModules Overall Project Plan Case Management Tracking System Accountabilities Manage Workday Technical Project Specialists and liaise with ITSEIS Workday integration technical support Manager overall Workday tenant configuration adoption of new functionality testing release implementation Partner with Functional Leads in making decisions of what featuresfunctionality to adopt and when to schedule Assigned as Security Partner Workdaydelivered role assignment for security configuration Track security changes manage approval process Organization Owner Workdaydelivered role assignment working with Functional Leads to control what structure looks likeconfigures build roles Organization Administrator Workdaydelivered role assignment control configuration of general set up Develop strategy and coordinate process for new featurefunctionality reviewconsideration adoption testing release plan partnering with Functional Leads on planning efforts (eg academic recruiting timekeeping big data mobile applications) Createmaintain project plan (rolling 3year forward in concert with Workday roadmap and USC business requirements) Maintain calendars push out reminders to functional leaders specific security roles and general users Oversees and assist with maintaining help Workday documentation job aids help text Assist with training efforts and communications to Workday user community Assist HR Shared Services Center that would provide user help desk services coordinate handling of escalated technical issues Liaise to USC IT community changes in system requirements (eg browser updates support most current + prior year major update only w 6month transition after browser update) The University of Southern California values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity in employment Bachelors degree (degree in information science or information technology preferred) 5 years related experience Combined experienceeducation may substitute for minimum education Certification in information technology project management Industry experience that includes At least 3 years as a project leader managing information technology projects Broadbased knowledge and experience of information technology Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent data analysis and manipulation skills for the creation and packaging of reports for management Experience managing multiple projects and tasks at the same time Solid analytical and facilitation skills Skilled in a variety of desktop software Apply Here httpwwwClick2Applynetdw7cnfr |
