| Epic Systems Corporation has multiple openings for Senior Software Systems Developers in the Madison WI metro area (Verona WI and Madison WI) DUTIES Plan initiate and manage largescale information technology projects which can include leading guiding or supervising the work of other software development personnel monitoring progress to assure adherence to scope schedule and software quality and programming standards and serving as liaison to product leadership Consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to analyze architecture and other requirements for and to set functionality and other specifications pertaining to complex computer systems databases and software applications Independently design and develop software for such systems databases and applications to ensure stability scalability performance security reliability and fullyintegrated functionality of such systems databases and applications (including full integration of new applications into existing enterprise database systems) Participate in videoconferences and Webcalls to communicate with customer representatives regarding ongoing and upcoming projects as well as future product direction Position involves domestic travel to customer sites of approximately 515 trips typically last no more than 23 days REQUIREMENTS Position requires a Bachelorrsquos degree or higher in Computer Science Mathematics Software Engineering Computer Engineering CIS Electrical Engineering or other related field and 5 years of software engineering or similar software designdevelopment work experience In addition must have software development experience through the entire development lifecycle for at least three complete new version release cycles Must have software development experience in multiple application domains Must have experience with MCache and experience adapting to and applying new programming languages and techniques as well as experience with database design techniques including designing and implementing large and high transactional throughput masterfile data models distributed database and query systems performance analysis and tuning and analytical reporting systems Must also have experience employing usercentered design methodology to create technical and workflow designs for highly scalable distributed enterprise systems Must pass companys required skills assessment test TO APPLY Submit resume to SSSDcareersepiccom mailtotechnicalcareersepiccom |
