| Position Summary This position is responsible for managing software implementation and exploitation projects for DresserRand The position will be part of a team executing projects associated with DresserRandrsquos Oracle EBusiness Application Suite Cognos Business Intelligence and a number of other associated applications This role will be a part of the Solutions Delivery team which is a project execution organization focused on delivering value through the application of information management tools in all areas of business operations This role is responsible for working with the stakeholder community to develop solution concepts develop requirements prepare business cases develop project plans and manage the development and deployment of solutions Position Qualifications Required 4 year degree (preferably in computer science or information systems) 8 years experience and strong background in ERP and associated financial systems Strong knowledge of manufacturing distribution projects and accounting applications Minimum 8 years experience managing implementations of major ERP software eg Oracle Applications SAP etc Defining scope and approach Gathering requirements Defining solution set for new location Identifying and onboarding user and IT project teams Conference room pilots Configurations Data conversions User acceptance testing Change management Training planning and scheduling Securing access planning and set up Proficiency in managing large projects using project management software Strong knowledge of development life cycle methodology such as Oracle Application Implementation Method Ability to influence persuade and obtain buyin from key stakeholders Strong communication and presentation skills with technical and nontechnical client The ability and willingness to travel internationally Ability to flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to successfully multitask Preferred Business intelligence experience with major data warehousing software such as Cognos Position Responsibilities Leadership Management Behavioral Competencies Liaise between business management users and IT departments It will be important to Build trust with others through commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards Have a commercially focused mindset for building business driven solutions Demonstrate a record of sound judgment creativity and commitment to achieving excellence This includes a demonstrated ability to influence senior level stakeholders in multiple departments Be able to take a stand and uphold decisions with conviction Appreciate the sophistication of todayrsquos global delivery model focused on delivering consistently high quality service to a global stakeholder community Have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to successfully multitask Have bandwidth to support a 24hour global organization and manage across geographic borders and various time zones Be intellectually curious Be energetic and passionate about working in a fast paced environment Personal Characteristics The successful candidate will have the resiliency to adapt to change and in fact take a leadership role in implementing changes rapidly Additionally he she will have Superior analytical and organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple missioncritical projects Demonstrated change management skills always seeking continuous innovation and improvement The ability to influence business and IT teams where direct authority might not exist in order to ldquoget things donerdquo Strong interpersonal alliances at all levels across the firm building solid relationships characterized by mutual respect openness and trust A passion for process Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough command of English language Keen attention to detail Additional Manage Oracle Applications implementation projects at the remainder of DresserRand sites Manage solution delivery projects such as additional ERP functionality at existing sites ERP boltons interfaces between ERP and other systems document management systems data warehousing etc Manage all phases of the applications development life cycle eg scoping requirements design and development user testing change management training and support Interpret needs of business leaders and develop specifications for solutions accordingly Provide solutions to improve business processes and systems Provide technical leadership in the deployment of enterprise applications include Oracle EBS Kronos Kewill Cognos business intelligence Oracle CRMOn demand and other global applications Create and maintain project plans Ensure successful execution of projects through proper control and methodology DresserRand is An Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer |
