We are seeking an IT Manager and Network Administrator to oversee all of our IT needs in the Burbank office This is a fun and creative job for a person who loves IT and Network Administration and has a strong background in pulling data and technologies from multiple sources to create user friendly systems that provide the required information to users DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Implement global and develop internal IT policies and procedures including architecture security and disaster recovery Negotiate and administer IT vendor and consultant contracts and service agreements Build and maintain IT infrastructure and services including network and server hardware and software applications Supervise and participate in supporting users Consistent problem management Follow a formal change management process Develop and maintain service levels for all IT services provided to the business Maintain a testable disaster recovery plan for all IT services Database Administration System Updates SQL Windows Server Linux Database backups including evaluating integrity of recent backups Training Train staff on new software skills training Manages training schedule Collaborates with departments in the company to improve IT systems and processes Oversee IT related projects and advise on ways to improve our processes using the most appropriate technology Integrate and maintain multiple different systems such as our ERP system VoIP phone systems fax servers hosted email and other technology Excellent knowledge of Infrastructure Technologies concepts and methodologies with ability to provide handson experience concerning the following topics Server hardware Microsoft Operating Systems Linux servers Virtualization of Servers Watchguard Firewalls SharePoint Network concepts and Network equipment and VoIP phone systems MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor or Masterrsquos degree in Computer Science Information Management Systems or related technical field 5+ years prior IT management experience with focus on process improvement bestpractice complex infrastructure management and partnership with business leaders You must have a strong background in network and database administration and management capabilities Project management skills Demonstrated organizational maturity Competent with desktop laptop and server computer hardware Competent with local and wide area network design implementation and operation DESIRABLE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Certifications PMP ITIL MCSEP SQL database scripting (Microsoft SQL or other) SQL report generation eg usage of MS SQL Reporting Services EDI and data warehousing systems Exchange 2007 2010 Experience working within a testing environment BENEFITS Medical Dental Vision Insurance 401k Paid Vacation and Holidays Life Insurance Progressive Career Path Casual Work Environment
