| Golden Hour Data Systems Inc was founded in 1997 Golden Hour is a software technology and medical billing company designed for the air medical transportation industry Our company has experienced well planned growth with a customer base that reaches across the United States Please visit our web site at wwwgoldenhourcom httpwwwgoldenhourcom We are currently recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer in our San Diego CA corporate office located on Mira Mesa and Sequence Drive This position requires a seasoned network and systems engineer with extensive experience designing and supporting computer and network systems in a dynamic and fastpaced 24x7 SaaS environment We are looking for experienced professionals with a proven track record who want to join a dynamic company with growth opportunities Skills and Education Requires a bachelorrsquos degree and 7 to 10 years of experience Extensive hands on experience with Linux VMware Cisco Windows Server Active Directory Remote Desktop Services Exchange and SQL Server Experience engineering and supporting 24x7 SaaS web based and RDS platforms is required Strong experience with TCPIP networking routing switching and firewalls Candidates with their RHCEMCSEVCP are preferred Extensive programming background in any applicable language Ideal Candidate Will Possess 710 years of experience supporting LinuxUNIX based operating systems 610 years of experience supporting Windows operating systems 57 years of experience supporting VMware ESXivSphere environments 57 years of experience supporting storage area networksSAN 57 years of experience supporting Exchange Server 35 years of experience supporting Cisco ASA firewalls 35 years of experience supporting database server platforms such Oracle and SQL Server Solid understanding and application of networkingdistributed computing environment disaster recovery and information security concepts Experience building a Data CenterColocation Experience working in HIPAA or other regulated environments Ability to identify tasks which require automation Experience with TomcatApache and Java Excellent customer service and follow up skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels Excellent documentation skills Excellent project management skills Ability to act as vendor liaison Ability to prioritize and solve problems quickly and completely Ability to act as team technical lead and mentor Ability to be equally effective working independently and as part of a cohesive team Responsibilities Include Designimplement complex local and widearea networks Manage a large site or network Act as a senior technical resource to IT team and organization Design implement and troubleshoot technical solutions for software engineers technicians and customers Ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion Develop systems requirements and specifications Recommend implement document and maintain network architectures (LAN WAN VPN Internet Intranet etc) Design document implement and maintain security measures to support patient privacy requirements of the Companyrsquos web presence Design document and maintain systemsrsquo disaster recovery procedures Work under general direction Establishrecommend policies and procedures on system use and services 247 Emergency response duty Candidate Requirements The candidate must be able to provide documentation to support ability to work in theUnited Stateswithin the federal legal guidelines San Diegoapplications only please Compensation and Benefits Golden Hour Data Systems offers a very competitive salary as well as an excellent benefits package Benefits include health insurance dental life insurance ADD LTD EAP In addition we offer Flexible Spending gym membership 401k 15 days a year PTO 9 paid holidays |
