| Company Description At Allied Solutions we are driven by an enthusiastic spirit and exuberance to succeed We are one of the largest providers of insurance lending and marketing products to financial institutions in the country Creating solutions through partnerships our commitment to our clients builds loyalty and fuels our success Learn more at our website wwwalliedsolutionsnet Summary The Applications Developer is capable of completing projects individually or as a member of a project team Leadership ability must be demonstrated Principle duties and responsibilities Participate in requirements gathering and definition Develop and maintain applications based on predefined requirements Develop implement and maintain unit tests of programs Participate in the design of new or changing programs and producing requisite specifications Participate in functional test planning for the assigned application functional area or project Participate in problem solving for the assigned application functional area or project Share knowledge by effectively documenting work via design documentation and code reviews Estimate development work effort Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned application or functional area Work with the team to ensure the quality of coordinated business functions Develop in a project based team environment Other duties as assigned Knowledge skills and abilities required College degree or equivalent work experience Must have a minimum 2+ years of handson software development experience using ObjectOriented methodology Demonstrated expertise in MS NET Framework ASPNET C SQL Server UML WPF WCF and XSLT SiteCore or QlikView experience a plus Experience with SQL Reporting Services is preferred Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Ability to work on multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to any given situation Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization Exceptional customer service attitude and interpersonal skills Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus Ability to learn technology quickly and independently Proficient in Design Frameworks such as ModelViewController Proficient in knowledge of object oriented programming environments Proficient with basic web development skills such as HTML CSS and Scripting Proficient with web technology Relational Database concepts and web services Basic flow charting skills experience with Visio preferred Adaptable flexible patient and professional Ability to work in a fast paced and often highpressure environment Excellent communication and verbal skills Ability to read and apply commonsense understanding to simple instructions short correspondence oralwritten instructions and memos Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills |
