| CGFNS International is a leading authority on international professional healthcare credentialing We are a nonprofit and immigration neutral organization whose mission is to help protect the public by ensuring that internationally educated health care professionals who wish to practice in the US are eligible and qualified to meet US licensure and practice requirements We undertake this mission through a rigorous assessment process based on consistent and objective standards Currenlty we are seeking a Senior Programmer to perform the following Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1 Expected to provide technical solutions for internal and external business applications 2 Ability to be technical leader on small to midsized projects and take a project through all phases of the System Life Cycle 3 Follow and enforce predetermined guidelines and standards for documentation coding and testing 4 Creating programming specifications coding and testing programs 5 Preparing test data test plan and implementation strategies 6 Understanding of various technologies and ability to propose technology solutions during the analysis and requirement gathering phase 7 Conduct peer level code reviews Other Responsibilities 1 May be required to work from remote locations (remote offices home) 2 Some travel may be required 3 May be required to carry pagercell phone Qualifications Education Five or more years of professional experience in Information Technology and minimum two year college diploma Experience Five plus years required with JAVAJ2EE JSP Working in a developing environment with relational databases preferably Oracle Experience with or similar IDE With all phases of the System Life Cycle including skills necessary to handle Testing and Change Management requests Must be strong with application design and have some data modeling experience Working directly with endusers to assist in defining requirements evaluate feasibility and technical alternatives prioritize and generate deliverables With SQL PLSQL and business intelligence tools a plus Oracle Application Server or Weblogic a plus Knowledge Skills Abilities Works well under general supervision in a team environment Problemsolver with good verbal and written skills detail oriented and well organized Work well under tight deadlines Ability to learn and implement new technologies as well as evaluate and make recommendations on both new and existing development tools Good understanding of information systems and their relationship to business functions Ability to multitask Ability to take ownership and follow through on tasks Solid analytical and problem solving skills Proactive and has demonstrated ability to take initiative |
