| IT Manager THE COMPANY Gehry Technologies is an AEC (Architect Engineering Construction) technology development and consulting company providing leading edge solutions including SaaS solutions to the industrys most challenging projects Our clients include some of the most recognized international architects engineers construction firms and owners working on some of the worlds most ambitious projects Gehry Technologies offers a unique approach to serving the needs of our clients We provide technology and services tailored to integrate the specific values and capabilities of the overall project and each member organization We support the adoption of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology and processes through project based services allowing teams to advance their use of these critical systems while meeting project schedules We provide training and knowledge transfer as part of every engagement Working with Gehry Technologies project teams can innovate with confidence while serving shared goals of highest quality speed and maximum value Position Summary The IT Manager will develop execute and oversee the internal technology strategy of the Gehry Technologies As an IT Manager you will manage all missioncritical technology services including network administration PCMAC user support services Amazon EC2 and AWS cloud deployment and efficient storage and retrieval of data Youll also support company initiatives as they arise Reports to CIO Detailed Responsibilities This position may include some or all of the following Handson ability to execute and get things done Be able to come up with a strategic plan to solve ongoing IT challenges and execute Setup new office with entire infrastructure Manage network infrastructure firewall switches etc Manage Amazon EC2 and AWS Rackspace data centers Troubleshoot and support our desktop users primarily PC but MAC experience will be required Network administration in Microsoft Active Directory environment Manage all user accounts on all systems (File servers EMail server FTP server phone system and security system) Purchasing inventorying configuration installation of new hardware and software Resource and contract management (employeesvendors) Ensure the continual operation of mission critical applications such as Finance HR Sales tools to ensure no interruption of services Develop review and execute a disaster recovery plan including performing scheduled backups and ondemand recovery Manage IT staff and develop dailyweekly plan of project execution and support needs Manage remote offices across the globe Required Experience and Skills Bachelors degree in related technology or related discipline andor equivalent combination of education training and related experience Will have completed 5+ years working in IT management in an high paced multioffice IT environment Handson experience in current position Strategic planning for solving IT challenges New office setup with entire infrastructure Network infrastructure firewall switches etc Amazon EC2 and AWS Rackspace data centers Install and configure Linux servers Network administration in Microsoft Active Directory environment User account management on various systems (File servers EMail server FTP server phone system and security system) Purchasing inventorying configuration installation of new hardware and software Resource and contract management (employeesvendors) Continual operation of mission critical applications such as Finance HR Sales tools to ensure no interruption of services Manage remote offices across the globe Experience training and managing IT staff Experience on a MACWindows based help desk Phone system administration Physical security administration This is a full time position and salary competitive DOE Employees are eligible for medical dental and vision after an introductory period In addition 401K life insurance longterm disability benefits will be provided AFFIRMATIVE ACTIONEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Gehry Technologies strongly supports and values the uniqueness of all individuals and promotes a work environment where diversity is embraced Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer |
