| IT Services Manager An exciting opportunity currently exists in our Buena Park location for a Global Business Service (GBS) IT Services Manager Under direction from the CIO Director GBS IT Americas is responsible for managing Amcor GBS IT services and resources for the Amcor facilities in the western region of theUS This position will act as the primary customer relationship manager for the Amcor business units based in this region Heshe will be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate IT services and related service levels are being provided to meet the specific needs of the Amcor businesses within this region Key Responsibilities include Provides daytoday management of and leadership to local GBS IT staff in accordance with functional area GBS leads who may not be local Acts as the primary customer relationship manager between Amcor GBS ITAmericasand those Amcor businesses based on the west coast Interacts on a regular basis with the local IT and business management staff within the region to understand the business unit needs and to align the GBS IT services provided to those needs and requirements Acts as the primary local interaction point for GBS IT and ensure robust twoway communications between both the customer to GBS and from GBS to the customer Develops detailed project plans for any agreed IT services provided from GBS and act as the manager to ensure plans are executed properly Works in collaboration with the local business CIO and IT staff to develop IT strategies and road maps that will provide the necessary technology to the local business while aligning the local businessrsquo technology with the global IT strategy Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as excellent overall interpersonal skills Must demonstrate a high sense of urgency ability to juggle multiple projects in a highpaced environment and the ability to quickly triage and prioritize issues and projects with minimal daytoday supervision Must be able to work in a highly matrixed reporting environment with minimal daytoday supervision Must demonstrate strong project management skills Must have a strong technical IT background including a strong working knowledge covering general IT technologies including wide local area networking technologies multiple server platforms (Windows Linux AIX AS400) Exchange voice and video communications technologies etchellip Strong negotiationtechnical procurement skills and understanding of technologyrelated contracts desired Performs other duties and or responsibilities as assigned The right person will have Bachelorrsquos degree in an appropriate field At least 10 years general IT experience with progressive responsibility Minimum of 5 years of management experience required Demonstrate the following competencies teamwork and cooperation problem analysis and judgment planning and organizing accountability and execution builds trust leads change and adaptive resilience It is the continuing policy of the Company to provide equalopportunity employment to all coworkers and applicants without regards to race creed color sex religion nation origin citizenship age veteranmilitary status disability pregnancy genetics or any other status protected by federal or state law with regard to any term or condition of employment Principles Only Recruiters please do not contact this job poster |
