| Position Summary As the IT business partner and relationship manager to Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development this position is responsible for overall IT service delivery to the Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development functions As a strategic consultant this position is responsible for providing consultation and deployment of information technology solutions to drive efficiency flexibility and scalability This role facilitates collaboration between the business functions and Information Technology services and will lead the full software lifecycle and drive projects utilizing strong project management skills with technical andor applications background in the Clinical Development and Regulatory space The position is responsible for the maintenance plan and enhancement of core and noncore business applications The role is expected to partner with internal and external stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of business processes and the supporting technologies and to keep abreast of IT technologies related to the Regulatory and Clinical environments to ensure best practice implementation Using these insights the role is responsible for identifying technology related opportunities assessing such opportunities collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and deploy technology solutions Minimum Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Life Sciences or related discipline 8 years of IT experience including development implementation and maintenance of medium to large scale integrated systems across multiple hardware and software platforms 5 years functional experience in Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development 8 years experience in managing client relationships 8 years of project management experience leading teams through gathering analyzing designing planning and executing to plan Full process ownership from vision through implementation Preferred Qualifications and Experience Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Life Sciences or related discipline Global deployment experience Competencies Ability to express ideas and information clearly and accurately Proactively and tactfully addresses concerns with others when problems persist Takes personal responsibility for evaluating and determining the best path forward when responding to a request from customers Actively builds relationships and networks with others across Cubist works constructively across organizational boundaries despite differences in interests perspectives and needs Recognizes opportunities andor issues and applies analytical and creative thinking to maximize performance Takes initiative to try new approaches while still following the rules Anticipates what will be needed in the future and takes initiative to meet those needs Leveraging a deep understanding of oneself in order to increase ones effectiveness Ability to remain calm and focused on the task at hand Work Environment Lexington office Physical Demands Some travel may be required To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily within the context of the representative work environment and physical demands described above Likewise qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge skills and abilities required to perform the positions essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions LICP Apply Here httpwwwClick2applynettdrkxcx |
