Job Description
| Growing midsized loop law firm has an immediate opening for an IT Support Specialist to provide IT deskside support and educational services (traditional training as well as deskside coaching) to all internal and external customer constituents A primary goal of this role will be to help ensure all technology is operational while promoting and ensuring its most effective and efficient use helping to drive increased productivity through the use of the IT Solutions provided Under the supervision of the Director of IT the responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to Maintain the operational availability of all technology resources Provide deskside support to internal customers on all technology solutions (see Required Knowledge Skills) Identify review and act upon support trends Participate in research and testing of new applications equipment and projects Education andor Experience Bachelors degree or commensurate experience Legal experience strongly preferred Understanding of Legal Technologies including but not limited to document knowledge management legal accounting case management litigation solutions docketing cost recovery and digital dictation Delivered approved educational curriculum in both a traditional classroom setting as well as a coaching deskside opportunity Identify potential educational trends and report to Director of IT for additional evaluation and action Identify evolving technology needs of various legal practices through the daily interaction with attorneys both in project and transactional interactions and reporting to Director of IT for additional action Through proactive relationships with customers identify and document business needs and requirements for proposing technology solutions Required Knowledge Skills Intermediate Advanced Skills Office 2003 2010 Mobile Device Technology (Blackberry iPhone etc) DMS Technology Autonomy (Filesite Worksite etc) Preferred Troubleshooting of Software Hardware and Networking Classroom Deskside and documentation Skills Training Education Experience Concepts Skills Virtual Technology We offer full benefits and a great working environment Salary commensurate with experience Send resume and salary requirements to resumechuhakcom Chuhak Tecson PC is located at 30 S Wacker Dr Chicago IL 60606 |
