| Responsibilities This position is responsible for analyzing understanding and translating business needs into businesstechnical requirements with minimal supervision Performs Business Requirements Gathering process including the creation of deliverables Conducts detailed research Performs analysis necessary to identify viable solution alternatives Follows the Horizons business requirements documentation process utilizing the appropriate tools Delivers work estimates to client(s) Creates technical documents and highlevel solution design Participates in the complete system development life cycle May perform testing including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Education Bachelors Degree required (equivalent work experience may be considered) Work Experience 46 years of related IT work experience preferably in the health insurance industry Has played a key role in major company initiatives and demonstrated some leadership experience Knowledge Requires knowledge of system development life cycle and implementation methodologies Demonstrates proficiency in structured query languages or analysis techniques Demonstrates ability to apply structure to a loosely defined problem Demonstrates understanding of core business functions Skills Requires ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills Requires strong PC skills Requires excellent organizational skills Prefer working knowledge of programming development and technical architecture |
