| Magento Developer Are you interested in being an integral part of a small development team Are you an excellent communicator If so we invite you to join our growing team of talented technology and marketing professionals As a Magento Developer you will have a flexible handson approach with the ability to maintain and improve current systems written in PHP and MySQL as well as architect develop test implement and sustain next generation highly data driven secure and scalable applications The ideal candidate will be a team player skilled in matching strategic direction with rock solid code and functionality Jada Beauty is an Internet company that owns and operates an ecommerce and content site We promote an entrepreneurial friendly culture that applauds innovation and results and embraces change Our smart intenselydriven team members are challenged to reach higher and think outside of the box while enjoying high levels of collaboration and the luxury of coming to work in jeans and flip flops We believe in doing things right and having fun along the way If you share our passion for innovation and the opportunity to navigate uncharted waters and wish to have the chance to have an immediate impact working with a highly motivated group of people who love what they do we want to hear from you Responsibilities Develop and maintain dynamic ecommerce and applications for reliability security manageability scalability and performance provide technical expertise in the areas of architecture design and implementation Working knowledge of Magento PHP HTML JavaScript AJAX XML and CSS Translate UI requirements (PSDs) and art direction into clean and stable code Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate datasets Provide technical resolutions for ecommerce store and order fulfillment system issues Effectively and efficiently interact with team members and third party vendor technical personnel Estimate project schedules accurately and consistently Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends Provide web production support for marketing efforts such as web site optimization AB testing web analytics tracking and landing pages Ability to put in a bit of extra time (from anywhere) when crises arise (which is rare) Actual work time will average 4045 hours per week Qualifications Experience with MVC framework Magento platform Experience of online payment systems My SQL database PHP HTML CSS and Javascript Proficient in Magento API Solid understanding and respect for best practices design and usability 1+ years developing in Magento 2+ years of experience building high quality scalable web applications in PHP (installation configuration and implementation) and MySQL Expert knowledge of HTML JavaScript AJAX XML and CSS Ability to write original code modify existing code debug problems and integrate the work of other programmers Basic Linux command line familiarity Experience with web design tools such as Photoshop Dreamweaver or equivalents Excellent communication skills both written verbal Can work independently with little direct supervision Ability to multitask and successfully manage multiple projects in a fastpaced and deadlineoriented environment Strong troubleshooting skills Must have a selfstarting personality who is unafraid to display initiative and innovation Experience with MooTools jQuery LAMP Server administration and SEO is a plus BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline Compensation Benefits Competitive annual salary Generous paid time off for vacationsholidays Flexible schedule Discounted employee purchases Continuous learning and opportunities for career advancement How to Apply This job is a fulltime position located at our office in Carmel IN Please send your resume and cover letter to daniellemybestfriendshaircom Thank you very much for your interest in joining the Jada Beauty team Our company is growing Our industry is growing And our people are growing |
