| Search Engine Marketing (Paid Search) Manager Title Paid Search Manager Reports to SVP Digital Delivery Description As the Paid Search Manager you will work with internal and external clients to strategize plan and manage searchmarketing accounts for multiple clients Youll be actively involved in client activity meetings and conference calls in order to understand the clients and their marketing objectives and goals The Paid Search Manager will be responsible for tracking results and making continuous improvements to the account in order to achieve and maintain online success for their clients website or Social Media channel This will include regular reporting to the client of improved results and next steps Responsibilities Meet with account teamsclients to help set search marketing goals objectives (based upon the larger program strategy) primarily for paid search campaigns in search engines and social media channels Collaborate on a search marketing strategy based upon those objectives while making recommendations for how best meet and exceed clients needs Research and select keywords create ad copy and determine the best landing pages for campaigns Optimize research report and improve on assigned search marketing accounts Stay informed of industry trends and best practices and understand how they can be applied to accounts Provide competitive or industry research when necessary Candidate Characteristics and Objectives Ability to produce great work results through relentless organization uncompromising integrity effective communication and proactive problem solving Desire to provide exceptional customer service and outstanding search marketing results Capacity to interact well with outside clients as well as internal employees Resourceful entrepreneurial spirit Job SpecificationsQualifications Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university 12 years of experience in the search marketing industry preferably in an agency environment Working understanding of SEM best practices Experience working directly with clients to determine their specific needs and creative ways to exceed their expectations Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Ability to recognize personal limits and find resourceful ways to selfeducate and overcome those limits Experience using search engine tools and bid management systems (eg Google Analytics Google Trends Google AdWords etc) is a plus Google AdWords Certification a plus Imagination is an EOE |
