| Hubbard Systems a local Birmingham company founded in 1983 is the leading provider of software for the legal debt collection industry We are growing again and currently seeking the right person to join our team of Software Support Analysts Our support analysts are the face of our company handling all customer contact and software support We offer great benefits and the opportunity for career growth in an entrepreneurial atmosphere Duties of our Software Support Analysts include 9642 Assisting customers with all technical and operational issues related to our software 9642 Providing discovery analysis and solutions to software related problems 9642 Working with customers to spec programming changes for enhancements and defect corrections 9642 Working with software developers to communicate customer needs 9642 Testing programming changes to ensure quality 9642 Training customers on the use of our software in our classroom onsite at the customers office and remotely using online collaboration tools 9642 Creating software documentation and training materials 9642 Configuring and implementing software for our customers 9642 Understanding operating system requirements and assisting customers with changes necessary for proper software operation 9642 Assisting customers with advanced accounting functions of the software including managing multiple trust accounts and reconciling balances 9642 Work with EDI interfaces to ensure smooth flows of data between us our customers and their clients and vendors 9642 Other related duties as necessary to maintain good customer relationships Qualified candidates will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to clearly present information to clients and peers via telephone email and group sessions is critical Requirements Candidates must possess 9642 The ability to think logically and solve complex technical problems and enjoy learning through new challenges 9642 Experience handling multiple priorities and being selfmotivated 9642 Prior experience supporting custom software serving business customers 9642 A bachelors degree in a technical field of study or equivalent job experience 9642 Commandline skills and experience with PC operating systems (MSDOS Windows UnixLinux) 9642 Excellent math skills 9642 Basic accounting skills 9642 The ability to work in a fastpaced selfmanaged environment 9642 Degree in Computer Science 9642 Some knowledge of NET programmingC and should be a selfstarter |
