3rd Level ServerNetwork Technical Consultant Working on your own or in a noncreative environment Want to be part of a team Tired of being underappreciated If you are looking for more autonomy and a greater ability to impact the company you are working withthis is the position for you This position is a High Level (3rd Tier) Technical Consultant This person will work autonomously and in a team role in challenging server and network engineering and diagnostic situations Constant learning and growth is the name of the game at HD Overview HD Technologies LLC is a IS Consulting and Managed Services firm focusing on delivering technical excellence cost containment and technology risk management for small and medium sized businesses in and around Orange County CA We have a progressive management style where all employees have input into the running of the company We offer a flexible work environment with work from home availability full user selectable health plan 401k and a progressive inclusive dynamic workplace Over our 20 years in business we have always focused on delivering the best technical solutions and highest quality customer service to our clients while focusing on the growth of our team Functional Role The ServerNetwork Technical Consultant will work with the customers to identify and resolve their server and network support issues includes maintaining existing and implementation of new serversnetworks The ideal candidate must be able and willing to consistently follow the operating processes of the company The technician will be responsible for developing plans to resolvesatisfy problemneeds quoting partstime and implementation of that plan according to a schedule Work will be performed at HD and at customer site as well as remotely This job includes traveling to and from client locations via personal car with mileage reimbursement Required Abilities Qualifications Minimum 5 years Windows 200308 server with 030710 Exchange consulting experience ndasheither integratorVARselfemployed consultant Leadership strong technical leadership skills experience working collaboratively with technical individuals in team environment Project Management Strong experience in managing and planning software conversions and operating system transitions in multiserver environments Trouble Shooting Experience ability to analyze complex solutions and develop a logical troubleshooting plan and implement it in the LANServerVPNInternet areas Networking strong network admin skills connecting peripherals LAN configuration TCPIP Ethernet switches and routers Security Experience Firewalls VPN Security Audits IDS preferable specifically Sonicwall and Cisco Virtualized ESX vSphere ESXi 35 4 5+ HyperV Vmware Server Ability to analyze and operate SANs with redundant switching Backup Platforms Appassure Replay 47+ StorageProtect Datto other disk based backup systems RMM experience configuration usage monitoring (preferably Kaseya) PSA experience (preferably ConnectWise) Allworx VOIP (or similar) Phone System installation and troubleshooting (SIP and virtual SIP) Good time management skills ability to stick to a plan and notify management if plan requires extra timewith emphasis on the ability to consistently implement company operating processes and procedures Superior customer relations and communication skills Must be able to drive and provide own transportation for client site visits Additions (not necessary for the position but useful) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Professional (MCSP) certifications a plus Macintosh adminuser skills Unix user experience CERTS helpful CCNA MCSE MCP MCITP VCP Measures of Performance Performance measurement of all technicians is based upon timely resolution of servernetwork problem and implementation of same within quoted times Technician is responsible for managing time and assisting scheduler with scheduling in order to achieve goal for percentage of billable time Clients and coworkers must be satisfied with work performed Compensation 3539hr based upon history
