| SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR The Senior DBA is responsible for the short and long range planning development and architecture of Goldline database solutions and database applications The Senior Database Administrator manages Goldline databases supporting ERP and reporting services and is responsible for the development and management of appropriate data structures supporting business intelligence applications such as Microstrategy KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES Plans develops and maintains the enterprise database platform Is responsible for production model office test and development data bases in support of database applications which currently include Microsoft Dynamics AX 4x Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4x Microsoft SSRS and Microstrategy Develops and maintains the organizations data warehouse ensuring that our data is secure Works with systems engineers developers system administrators and management to support new and changing database requirements while increasing the leverage of database solution components (queries reporting structures etc) Conducts query and database testing Troubleshoots and resolves production problems Contribute to design discussions for the development of all database architecture components Develops documents implements and maintains best practices for data integrity and data replication QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated leadership and performance in a database administrator role supporting enterprise level Microsoft SQL Server databases (2005 and 2008) Demonstrated expertise with all aspects of SQL Server administration including DB creation server installation cluster installation maintenance replication and backup Performance tuning experience specific to highvolume OLTP and DSS environments Proficient in backup and recovery of large SQL Server databases Knowledge of Windows and SQL Server clustering for failover and performance management Knowledge and experience working with ETL tools (SSIS Talend) Excellent analytical and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills 4 year degree in a technical field (Computer Sciences Engineering Mathematics) desired or equivalent work experience Bonus Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services Experience in retail or multilevel marketing HOW TO APPLYWe invite you to express your interest by submitting your resume and salary expectation to the email above with the subject identified as ldquoSQL DBA Additionally we welcome you to learn more about Goldline International Inc at wwwgoldlinecom httpwwwgoldlinecom NO phone calls or agencies please Goldline International Inc is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) |
