| ITSocial Media Manager Slow Money a nonprofit NGO that focuses on directing capital into local food economies is a nimble innovative start up that seeks an ITSocial Media expert to assist with a combination of IT and social media responsibilities This unique position is an ideal fit for someone versed in IT savvy with social media flexible adaptable good with words steady reliable and responsive to lastminute requests and changes This individual will supply the nuts and bolts to help our systems run and have fun with some content and communications creation as it applies to social media The position reports to our Chairman and requires collaboration with the entire team The position includes the following requirements and responsibilities Social Media manager 90 percent The social media manager shapes the face of Slow Money through our social media presence and ideally would have some experience with language as it relates to entrepreneurship and investing That or be a fast learner Herersquos some of what the job entails Maintain Slow Money websites Minor layout changes Content changes Updating news coverage Implement Slow Moneyrsquos blog Administrating all parts of the blog Coordinating content update Integrate with other social media Administer Facebook page Regular content update (45 times a week) Interaction with fans on the page Help produce and distribute the Slow Money Letter (newsletter) and help produce and run the Slow Money webinar (using gotomeeting) Send out email blasts and layout all newsletter content Manage membership systems growth (including members of the organization attendees of events partners donors etc) Update and maintain Salsa database Support conference marketing and registration Implement online support development Including but not limited to end of year online campaign Twitter Interact with other twitter users Update tweets (25 a day) Evaluate other platforms Currently in consideration for Social Media Wikipedia LinkedIn YouTube Statistics reporting metrics on Facebook Membership and Signatories Manage online advertising (Administer Google Grantrsquos Adwords Account target Facebook Ads as needed) IT manager 10 percent The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring all email website database software and technology systems are fully operational at all times In addition this individual is responsible for researching and implementing new technology tools and platforms as necessary to regularly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our multilocation operation Manage the back end of all technology systems to ensure maximum uptime Please see wwwslowmoneyorg httpwwwslowmoneyorg for more information about our organization |
