| As a key member of our development team you will work to support our proprietary applications using software toolslanguages such as Eclipse JavaScript jQuery CSSCSS3 and HTMLHTML5 Serious candidates will be passionate about UI design and open to working in a fastpaced smallteam environment We are looking for an innovative problem solver who has demonstrated success with streamlined workflows and ease of use PerformanceGateway is a technology and services company headquartered in Madison Wisconsin The team relies on each other in a hardworking yet goodhumored environment to build products that can be leveraged by many industries including insurance collision repair and vehicle manufacturing Please note This is not a telecommuting position You must be able to work from our Madison Wisconsin office Key Areas of Responsiblity Designs and develops a cross platformcross devicecross browser (back to IE7) user interface Conducts usability testing Streamlines user workflows Sets a standard for ease of comprehension across the entire application and future functionality Continues to develop and improve application using a framework Utilizes HTML5 and CSS3 where appropriate Implements easily removed fallbacksshims to create a consistent experience across the platformbrowserdevice Creates documentation that defines user interafce standards development standards and designlayout standards Debugs current JavaScript HTML and CSS issues as they arise Develops prototypes Qualifications Has a thorough understanding of user interface design standards Understands importance of maintaining standards of usability and user experience Grasps concept of user interface patterns and progressive enhancement Able to work while sitting in front of a computer for hours at a time Understands the importance of deadlines Has excellent written and spoken communication skills |
