| The Information Technology Department at Iowa State University is seeking candidates for a Systems Analyst This position provides technical and applications computer support and programming services related to the Business Finance groups on campus The position partners to analyze design program implement and maintain enterpriselevel applications The position is involved with all phases of application development using a variety of software development tools This position will also support our data warehouse reports written using the Cognos suite of tools The position will have a good understanding of the Kuali financial system data and will maintain the eData reports The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on multiple simultaneous projects Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for success in this position Required Qualifications Systems Analyst I Bachelors degree and two years related experience OR Masters degree with some experience Systems Analyst II Bachelors degree and three years related experience OR Masters degree and one year related experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Computer Engineering MIS or related field Experience that demonstrates knowledge of relational database skills including DB2 Oracle and SQL Server Experience that demonstrates software development skills using COBOL JSP CICS JCL Easytrieve and FTP Experience that demonstrates use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and processes like data modeling Extract Transform and Load (ETL) and report writing Project management experience Experience using MS Office including Excel pivot tables and V lookups Please apply online at wwwiastatejobscom |
