Position Summary The position reports directly to the Director of Project Management. The project manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the project team with project reporting responsibilities to the project sponsors and other project stakeholders. The position requires abilities to be able to direct the development of IT system requirements, scope, project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively integrate activities of project teams. Additionally, the ability to assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, and develop the project schedule. The types of IT projects include enterprise-level system implementations and upgrades, delivery of IT services to construction and related projects and special IT technical projects. Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, LICENCES B.S or B.A. in IT, Healthcare or Business Administration. Will consider other degrees if the minimal work experience qualifications are satisfied. PMI-focused project management training SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Understanding of MS Project and MS Office, and other project tools as needed Understanding of project cash flows, budgets. KIND AND LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE Three to five years in the role of Project Manager for IT projects DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, LICENCES Project Management Professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Demonstrated experiential proficiency with project technologies, markets and products KIND AND LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE Prefer multiple project management experience or large, complex single project experience.
