| Nexxo Financial Corporation led by a very experienced management team and backed by worldclass venture capital firms is a technology company providing needed financial services to consumers in a rapidly expanding market segment With tens of thousands of customers trusting us with hundreds of millions of dollars each year we are doing well by doing a lot of good To support our mission we seek the following Role Description Nexxo Financial is currently seeking candidates for a Project Management position The general function of the Project Manager is to perform complex work related to managing project execution of enterprise and information technology programs from original concept through postimplementation using professional Project Management standardspractices This position reports directly to head of the Project Management Office but may report indirectly to other departments based upon specific projects To perform the job successfully an individual must manage all aspects of projects and programs monitor and manage project portfolios The candidate must facilitateconduct business process designredesign effectively establish and manage relationships and stakeholder expectations execute competitive selection processes for products or services and manage vendor relationship and contracts This is a fulltime salaried (85000 100000year) position based out of our headquarters in Burlingame California Excellent health dental vision 401K with fully vested company match and generous paid time offholidays PreIPO stock options are available for the exceptional candidate At this time we are unable to engage candidates that require sponsorship Requirements Bachelor degree in business management engineering or related field Master degree preferred Minimum of 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of development and execution or comparable experience Demonstrated success in managing dual shore development teams is desired Experience in the finance industry is highly desired Responsibilities Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements utilizing proper change management Manages daytoday operational aspects of a project and scope Reviews deliverables with project team to ensure quality and adherence to customer requirements Effectively applies standard project methodology and enforces project principles Perform project risk escalation management Ensures project documents are complete current and stored appropriately Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis Analyzes project profitability revenue margins bill rates and utilization Understands basic revenue models PL and costtocompletion projections and makes decisions accordingly Facilitates team and client meetings effectively Holds regular status meetings with project team Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors Understands how to communicate difficultsensitive information tactfully Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner Mitigates team conflict and communication problems Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor junior project members For immediate consideration please email a cover letter explaining your qualifications and your resume |
