| POSITION DESCRIPTION The Enterprise Resource Planning Programmer II is responsible for the customization and development of ERP applications under general guidance from a senior programmer or manager This individual must be proficient in the design coding testing debugging and implementation phases of the application systems development process KCTCS offers a competitive benefits package and an attractive work environment that supports excellence innovation and creativity Positions with the KCTCS System Office are term contract positions with the expectancy of continuance based on performance MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES Provides Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) PeopleSoftFinancialsSupply Chain Management (FSCM) production software support to include technical support for system office and statewide colleges problem resolution testing implementing interfaces setup issues researching etc Implements enhancements to software and creates detailed documentation of enhancements to software (new modules custom enhancements etc) Develops and provides complex reporting solutions utilizing XML Publisher SQR Application Engine PS Query SQL and other tools for functional users maintains and directs interfaces authors detailed technical specification and documentation by meeting with end users to ascertain needs and determine parameters Performs crossfunctional support when necessary monitors administrative software use project coordination and tracking as well as user tracking MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree (Computer Science MIS Math Engineering or related quantitative discipline) and three years related work experience or equivalent Excellent oral and written communication skills PREFERRED COMPETENCIES Click here to enter text Bachelors degree (Computer Science MIS Math Engineering or related quantitative discipline) Five years of positionrelated experience or equivalent Formal training in software development languages and techniques Oracle relational database expertise experience with PeopleSoftPeopleTools (or equivalent ERP software development tools) and knowledge of SQL preferred KY law requires state and national preemployment background checks as a condition of employment Applicants will be notified if selected for an interview Search may be extended if additional candidates are needed For questions regarding the above position contact us by emailing Kctcsemployrequestkctcsedu |
