| TEAM Schools is looking for a technology support manager at the network level Why join TEAM Great question Were really passionate about what we do and the kids that we serve Were constantly growing serving more families in Newark each year Why else Working at our schools is a lot of fun which we think is super important The technology team works across our five current schools and our shared services office which we call Room 9 The technology support manager will manage techs at each campus and coordinate desktop support at each campus and Room 9 oversees and manages the rollout of IT projects across the schools and assists the director of technology with special projects Responsibilities The technology support manager will direct the support at each of our school campuses and Room 9 as well as oversee special projects and rollout of new equipment across campuses Here are some more of their responsibilities Oversees IT staff who provide technical support on all technologyrelated issues including troubleshooting computer software and hardware problems replacementsupgrades and classroom technology Provides monthly support reports to operations managers and analyzes results Actively raises issues and recommends improvements to desktop support services Provides technology orientation and training to staff Provides Active Directory account management Exchange mailbox management (creation and removal only) and distribution list and security group management Monitors LANWAN coordinates investigation of any network latency or outages Reviews backup logs and manages backups for all servers Assumes responsibility for special technology projects that are rolledout at schools across our network Sets schedule and deliverables for each tech project Holds team accountable to meet deliverables Ensures that stakeholders receive regular communication regarding the status of their projects Assists director of technology in looking for solutions to make technology systems more efficient across schools and network Actively participates in developing and implementing the technology strategy for TEAMs network of schools Assists the director of technology with applications for federal ERate funding Sets IT staff member goals and holds team accountable in meeting goals Meets with IT staff regularly to provide coaching and feedback on performance Assists IT staff with prioritization of workload and execution on meeting service level agreements Ensures that IT staff are adequately communicating with schoolbased operations teams including directors of school operations and school leaders as appropriate Must Haves Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution Minimum 710 years in the IT industry preferably with experience in an educational institution Minimum 35 years in an IT management role Must possess advanced proficiency in the following o Installing configuring and administering Windows XP and 7 workstations o Troubleshooting hardware and software issues including Microsoft Office 2010 products o Installation and administration of Windows Server 2003 2008 R2 o System administration of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange 2007 or later for purposes of performing account distribution list and mailbox management o A strong understanding of TCPIP networking o Working knowledge of securities solutions Firewalls Antivirus Antimalware Additional experience in these areas a plus o Installing configuring and administering Mac OS X o Smartphone support BlackBerry iPhone Android o Interactive whiteboards SMART Boards Eno Boards o Microsoft SharePoint Services o Kaseya IT Management Suite o Lightspeed Content Filtering System o VMware ESX VMware View Compensation In addition to a competitive salary TEAM Charter Schools offers a full benefits plan a subsidized wireless plan through Verizon a school laptop as well as travel benefits for TEAMmates coming from the New York City area About TEAM Schools TEAM Charter Schools is a network of highperforming urban schools in Newark NJ We founded TEAM Academy in 2002 and have opened four additional schools since (Rise Academy Newark Collegiate Academy SPARK Academy and THRIVE Academy) and will continue to grow until we have ten schools across the city of Newark For more information about us our values and what its like to be here check out our website at wwwteamschoolsorg |
