| Digital team is on the cuttingedge of creating immerse experiences and digital marketing spanning all platforms including Online Mobile Tablet and iTV across sectors of entertainment brands and digital publishing Were looking for creative and highly motivated individuals with a passion for excellence and a hunger to learn new technologies to create the most compelling interactive experiences in the industry The JUNIOR DEVELOPER for Digital team is a (handson) position that will be responsible for the development of digital advertising app development as well as support for the Technical Director This candidate must be exceptional at teamwork in a collaborative environment and assist in all development and delivery of interactive advertising campaigns Reporting to the Technical Director this positions primary responsibility is ensuring the timely delivery of development solutions for various campaigns and digital books JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Primary Responsibilities Partner with designers developers and producers to implement and optimize interactive components Develop interfaces for Interactive advertising and content including creating navigation flow and developing site architecture Assist in documenting designs for APIs and backend systems Work with project leader and other key team members to technically shape wireframes test builds and final product Support Technical Directors to ensure project is executed with a unified technical approach Create software design documents Review UI designs and communicate with designers and producers on the technical feasibility of proposals Contribute to detailed engineering scope and specification documents Map requirements to own engineering tasks perform due diligence to identify dependencies Contribute cool innovative and groundbreaking ideas for projects the customers Qualifications Strong knowledge of HTML CSS Photoshop JavaScript PHP Experience with crossbrowser compatibility including mobile and tablet browsers Experience building social platform apps a major plus Working knowledge of user interface design interactive gaming and social community architecture Familiarity with iOS mobile apps mobile delivery specs and design parameters Clear understanding of User Experience concepts such as wireframes Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator After Effects) Familiarity with web services (XML JSON SOA OOP) Familiarity with database technologies Familiarity with back end web development dynamic programming languages (Ruby PHP Python) Other Requirements Ability to anticipate and avoid roadblocks willingness to to adapt to changing client needs Proficiency and excellence in application architecture and design problem solving skills and strategic thinking Ability to communicate designs to nontechnical entities with diagrams and detailed scope Experience working in a team environment on multiple projects Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a teamoriented environment A team player with energy and enthusiasm and a high tolerance for change and ambiguity Excellent communicator with an interest in continuous improvement of self and the organization Customerfocused react well to changes able to multitask on multiple products and projects Portfolio of work examples Education Professional Training Technical Training or Certification Interactive media related degree or diploma or equivalent experience in the interactive design field |
