| Our Mission The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) is a privatesector nonprofit corporation created by the SarbanesOxley Act of 2002 to oversee the auditors of public companies in order to protect the interests of investors and further the public interest in the preparation of informative fair and independent audit reports Description Work as a lead developer on Agile development teams Work closely with team members to ensure product delivery success by using Agile delivery tools and methodologies Work with product managers and business SMEs to define solutions that achieve the technical and business objectives Define the deliverable tasks and estimate task durations Responsible for design and development of C NET ASPNET and SharePoint based applications Responsibilities Designs codes tests debugs documents and supports Microsoft based applications as a member of a Scrum team Work closely with team members and business to gather and validate requirements drive out technical issues and model solutions that meet the functional and technical requirements Collaborates with the team on application architecture design and decisionmaking Develops innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business Provides alternate design solutions along with project estimates Designs and implements application enhancements in collaboration with different teams Promote and ensure adherence to internally defined development practices Establish coding standards and perform code reviews to assure compliance Troubleshoots production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions Ability to solve complex production issues Participates in the development of application strategy Translates technical concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas products andor approaches Will be expected to function as a mentor for junior developers providing assistance where needed Will be expected to handle smaller projects completely on their own including interactions with other teams and 3rd parties for design and architecture Involvement with senior management in terms of supplying input for key design and architecture decisions as well as work estimation and resource planning Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT industry Minimum of 6 years of experience in Microsoft Technologies Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Lead capacity Command of ASPNET C LINQ WCF and WPF Strongworking knowledge of XML XML Schemas XSLT Strong knowledge of key SharePoint Technologies such as InfoPath forms and custom web part development Expertise in with design patterns Scrum framework and TDD Knowledge of Team Foundation Server geared towards build automation and Continuous Integration is a must Working knowledge of various common protocols such as HTTP SSL SOAPWeb services Strong exposure to relational database (SQL Server) design and SQL Knowledge of JQuery and AJAX is desired Exposure to Microsoft Enterprise Library is desired Exposure to the Accounting and Regulatory Industry is a plus Our Values The PCAOB encourages a spirit of cooperation and teamwork and fosters an environment of professional growth where employees can exercise their leadership ability creativity technical competence and public interest focus in helping the PCAOB fulfill its mission Equal Employment Opportunity The PCAOB is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to establishing a diverse workforce |
