| About the company Freestone Capital Management LLC is an independent wealth advisor and asset management boutique based in Seattle Washington with over 2 billion of assets under management Since our founding in 1999 Freestone has been dedicated to delivering outstanding results and exceptional service through the creation of a new and sustainable wealth management advisory model in which the interests of the firm are aligned with the interests of our clients Today we continue to offer clients a comprehensive solution to managing their wealth based upon unbiased rational advice and innovative strategies About the position The Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for administering and enhancing the firms SQL database and designing reports queries and stored procedures based on end user needs As a key member of the firms operations department this position requires a strong technical contributor with initiative independence and persistence an ability to work in a dynamic environment supporting internal investment professionals and an ability to perform a wide variety of duties Primary responsibilities 61607 Perform data scrubbing quality checking and usability analysis to identify anomalies which need to be addressed prior to delivery of analytical results 61607 Write SQL queries to create enduser reports and perform datamining 61607 Produce reports using Excel and SQL Server Reporting Services 61607 Develop and modify business logic embedded in complex SQL stored procedures 61607 Develop and document processes and scripts using SSIS for the ETL of data from processing software deployed by the firm both flat file and SQL based to the database Qualifications 61607 Prior experience in financial services industry and understanding of financial terms and concepts 61607 Expertise in developing complex legible and wellstructured scripts queries and stored procedures in SQL 61607 Significant experience with SQL Server Reporting Services including Business Intelligence Design Studio 61607 Strong working knowledge of MS Excel with proficiency using formulas Pivot Tables linked worksheets graphing and other reporting and presentation features 61607 Strong knowledge of SQL Server database structures and Query optimizing Personal characteristics 61607 High degree of professionalism integrity and interpersonal skills 61607 Track record of bringing a customer focus and sensitivity to client needs and issues 61607 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple projects 61607 A positive upbeat personality who believes in opportunities rather than obstacles 61607 Self starter with high degree of operational problem solving skills Compensation Salary commensurate with experience with annual bonus and great benefit package |
