| Position Summary EHIM is looking for a C Net developer to join EHIMs growing IT team The position is in EHIMs IT Operations group which supports EHIMs custom Net applications including webbased and formbased systems The position will focus on EDI applications including the rearchitecting of existing EDI applications and the development of new EDI applications The position will also be responsible for working with IT from outside companies to test and provide feedback on individual implementations of both incoming and outgoing files Primary Duties Implementing new EDI instances and programs to support the intake and creation of EDI files and integrating the data with EHIMs existing business systems Learning documenting and then refactoring and rearchitecting (if needed) existing EDI systems Working directly with clients and their vendors to communicate document and test EDI interfaces Providing daytoday support for users of EHIMs custom systems This includes making datacorrections diagnosing issues fixing bugs and implementing small enhancements and features Suggesting areas for possible improvement of efficiency for any aspect of EDI that could be handed off to staff outside of the IT department to handle Create responsive web designs for applications targeted for different platforms (web phone tablet) Position Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field of study or equivalent IT experience required Experience using Microsoft Net and Visual Studio Strong knowledge and experience using a relational database and SQL EHIM is a very data centric company so strong SQL knowledge is a must Must be able to communicate with end users and other IT team members efficiently both verbally and in written form Experience with EDI a plus 9472 particularly in the area of Health insurance claims processing Knowledge of SSIS or similar tools a plus Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing needs in company Must be willing to put in extra hours as needs arise Must be dependable and demonstrate responsible work patterns Must have professional demeanor with pleasant approachable personality Strong understanding of Microsoft OutlookWordExcel Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Candidates must have a portfolio with relevant code samples be prepared to debrief Candidates will be asked to take a 30 minute logic programming and SQL test and review their answers EHIM is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race color religion gender pregnancy national origin age veteran status disability sexual orientation gender identityexpression marital status genetic characteristics and any other factor protected by law |
