| Dawley and Associates is looking for an experienced web developer to add to our small software development agency in SODO Seattle We are looking for a selfmotivated worker who can handle endtoend development set and meet project deadlines and code flexibly to changing customer requirements Successful candidates should design software with efficiency in mind keeping designs as simple as possible to fully meet the requirements writing clean code with extensibility in mind Youll be working with a variety of codebases and technologies almost exclusively on the Microsoft stack We aim to achieve a steady sustainable pace of work and maintain the same philosophy with reasonable work hours and deadlines At the same time you should be passionate about technology forwardthinking in terms of the technologies we use and driven to achieve your goals This is an excellent opportunity for a talented programmer who enjoys a variety of work creative design control and unlimited growth potential with a small company Responsibilities Research design write and test new software programs develop and improve existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification Support legacy webbased applications Develop applications with intuitive user interface to integrate with both custom and commercial web CMS Participate in evaluating new technologies or products to determine effectiveness in an existing solution base Ensure consistent quality in all software released Requirements Bachelors degree Fluent with Visual Studio and other dev tools on the Microsoft stack Proficient with SQL Server Tools (Enterprise Manager Query Analyzer and others) Developing C for the NET platform in Visual Studio JavaScript and libraries like jQuery jQueryUI and Knockout Writing and debugging ASPNET using Visual Studio Setting up and managing a clientserver development staging and production environment Content Management Systems experience specifically Sitecore and Umbraco a plus experience with iPhone applications development also a plus Minimum 3 years programmingdeveloper experience This is a full time position in the Seattle area No remote work available |
