| IMMEDIATE OPENING LOCATION AUSTIN or DALLAS AMN is seeking a software development manager developer experienced in Agile development methodologies The successful candidate will interface with AMN Management and AMN on and offshore development teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software that meets AMNs business requirements The ideal candidate also possesses sufficient technical experience to evaluate existing technical team solutions actively participate in technical discussions perform some development maintenance and decision making Responsibilities Interface with AMN stakeholders to identify requirements Prepare technical specifications from which application programs will be developed Develop a strong understanding of business requirements Interface with AMN development teams to ensure timely delivery of software that meets AMN requirements Design and enforce AMN software development processes Create reports using SQL Manage and maintain AMN software development tools (JIRA Team Foundation Server GitHub Selenium) Coordinate between AMN development test systems and management organizations Maintain a software development roadmap and communicate with development and management to make sure defects and features are properly prioritized Mentor and manage AMN technical team Validate technical team time and cost estimates Evaluate the effectiveness of AMN Technical Leads and Managers Track software versions and manage testing and deployment of software to various test and production environments Provide weekly reports to AMN management and maintain a realtime dashboard for AMN decision makers Skills Net Development (C) Web Application Development (ASPNET ADONET) Experience building scalable high availability enterprise web applications Microsoft Team System Agile Development SQL Server SQL Admin IIS Adobe Flash JIRA or equivalent Strong debugging and problem solving sills Experience and Education 3+ years as a developer in Net Web Services 5+ years as a software development manager 5+ years developing databases in MS SQL 5+ years multitier multilayer design Technical Degree (Engineering Computer Science or related) Skills and Experience + Casino or Online Gaming 2 + years Agile project management |
