| Ralph Lauren Corporation (NYSE RL) is a leader in the design marketing and distribution of premium lifestyle products in four categories apparel home accessories and fragrances For more than 44 years Ralph Laurens reputation and distinctive image have been consistently developed across an expanding number of products brands and international markets Ralph Lauren is an equal opportunity employer We offer dynamic career opportunities with growth potential and a generous company discount PURPOSE SCOPE The Senior Director of Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the software development lifecycle global resource management and the consolidation reporting and analytics for all global digital project activities The position defines and maintains standards for project management within the organization The PMO strives to standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects while maintaining high standards of quality for software delivery The PMO is the source of documentation guidance and metrics on the practice of project management and execution Critically this role will provide the data and insight to ensure the company is optimizing its resources and investments across its portfolio of global digital projects This position supervises the team that provides project management support functions and administrative support to project managers RESPONSIBILITIES Creation and updating of procedures aimed at improving processes and coordination between departments of complex technology processes Work with various stakeholders to ensure proper allocation of global digital resources to key projects and ensure the effective prioritization of resources and investments for key strategic and revenuegenerating projects Report on project activities problems and requirements to executive management as a strategic tool in keeping implementers and decision makers moving toward consistent business or missionfocused goals and objectives Provide financial metrics budget control and financial reporting for all global digital projects Define training requirements Own and deliver training courses REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE At least ten years as an online project manager either at an ecommerce website digital agency or online company PMP or PMI certification Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external groups Strong financial and analytical skills Strong knowledge of MS Project Excel Word and PPT to help in the documentation and facilitation of tasks Ability to build and present decks for executive communication of global project portfolio performance High energy and enthusiasm and ability to succeed in a dynamic work environment Solid technical skills and ability to define and refine a software development lifecycle process in collaboration with product technology and user experiencecreative groups |
