Job Description
| We currently have an opening for a Director of Information Systems with a well established and respected nonprofit organization that is committed to providing high quality health care and excellent customer service The Director of Information Systems shall provide leadership and management to the Information Systems department including supervising approximately five employees and reports to the Chief Operating Officer The Director is responsible for all aspects of information technology management and control including supervision of information technology employees budget preparation and management recommendations for technical acquisitions and development of guidelines standards and procedures Qualifications include Bachelors degree in Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience required Masters degree in HealthHospital Administration Business Administration Computer Science or related field is preferred Minimum of five years experience with increasing responsibilities for management of IS operations required Project management and strategic planning experience required Significant experience in a health care setting is desirable specifically in technology and information systems planning to support business goals is preferred Experience should also include exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions as well as support of inhouse information and communication systems in a multisite environment Experience installing maintaining support and troubleshooting of IS infrastructure including wiredwireless network server internetintranet storage and desktop platforms preferred Experience with Cisco network and voice communication systems is preferred Experience with Microsoft Windows Environments including MSSQL and Microsoft Exchange Internet Information Server and Electric Health Records (eg intergy) applications preferred Specific experience with practice management financial management and clinical management information systems is preferred Experience with IS system hardware software and services acquisition processes is preferred Experience with IS vendor and contract management is preferred Strong ability to collaborate SalaryBenefits We offer a competitive compensation benefits and retirement package Please submit resume to and minimum salary requirement to Email careersqueenscareorg Fax (323) 6600359 Website wwwqueenscarefamilyclinicsorg |
