| POSITION SUMMARY The DatabaseWeb Programmer is a member of the staff of the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) appointed by the Chief Executive Officer reports directly to the Manager of Operations and shares with other staff the work involved with the Commissions evaluative processes The DatabaseWeb Programmer requires a motivated and analytical individual for the continuing development enhancement and refinement of the organizations database management system and web properties RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the integrity validity currency and accuracy of data delivery Create ad hoc queries exports and reports for end users Develop implement and maintain scripts for integration of data from external sources Monitor and optimize database system health performance and operational manageability Identify database system and website improvements modify back and front end applications to deliver user requirements efficiency and experience Ensure compliance with best practice and coding standards in both back and front end programming and maintenance of the database system and websites Maintain web properties to ensure websites are dynamic current and relevant Interpret design and functional requirements for website development and programming Provide technical support to end users of the database system and database driven web applications Other duties and responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS All of the following are required and considered critical elements to be considered for the position (as noted) Minimum of 2+ years of programming experience in related technologies baccalaureate degree in computer science or related field required Proficient in TSQL and SQL Server Management Tools Skilled in NET Development (ASPNET) Experience with Dreamweaver Visual Studio or similar web design tools Adobe CS a plus Skilled in web programming languages HTML Javascript CSS and Classic ASP Knowledge of web standards and guidelines W3C UX Accessibility Familiar with configuring troubleshooting and maintaining Windows SQL and IIS Servers Proficient in MS Access and Excel Capable of adjusting to changing priorities and deadlines Effective interpersonal written and verbal communication skills COMPANY OVERVIEW The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) supports the interests of nursing education nursing practice and the public by the functions of accreditation Please check the NLNAC website at wwwnlnacorg |
