Job Description

When you join Dow Jones, you become part of one of the most dynamic, creative and savvy information companies in the world. As a global leader in news and business intelligence, we are newswires, websites, mobile apps, newspapers, magazines, radio and television. This includes some of the world's widest-read and most-respected brands, including The Wall Street Journal Franchise with properties such as MarketWatch and AllThingsD, as well as Dow Jones Newswires and Factiva. While our media informs the discussions and decisions that are vital to the world's commerce, it is our technology that transforms information into insight.
This posting is for a small team of technologists working on strategic projects across the full Dow Jones portfolio. To qualify for this position you must be a technologist of the highest caliber, possess a determined work ethic, and inspire those around you with creative and unique insights. You must be able to take ownership of your own projects and operate autonomously while knowing when to involve others in your work. Recent experience with node.js, JavaScript, NoSQL databases, Perl, C , iOS, Android and cloud computing are all a plus as you will work with many of these technologies.
