| The Web Developer II works within the Business Systems team to design and develop custom solutions to support ESET business functions Responsibilities include development testing and implementing customizations and integrations of key systems (ESET Website EStore CRM Knowledgebase etc)Responsibilities Independently design code and test customizations as well as work with other team members to deliver complex changes Examine existing systems and optimize for increased efficiency and other performance gains Ensure best practices are maintained in all development including auditing existing website and web applications Develop and test for crossbrowser compatibility Assist in implementing analytics tracking and testing code throughout the website Interact with key managers and internal users regarding timelines technical issues and infrastructure integration Document code and system functionalities to aid in maintenance and code reuse Qualifications Experience Minimum four years of experience in requirements analysis design coding and testing of scalable applications on various environments Javascript HTML CSS Java PHP MySQLdatabase integration and web servicesAPIs knowledge Education Bachelorrsquos degree from fouryear college or university in Computer Science Information Systems or other equivalent technologyrelated work experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities Skill in objectoriented design methodology and application development in PHP andor Java Skill in crossbrowser compatible development in HTML CSS JavascriptJQuery Ability to design and write SQL queries for various database platforms including MySQL Oracle and MS SQL Server Understanding of site usability and user experience Experience developing within frameworks and content management systems Knowledge of JSON XML REST SOAP AJAX RSS RegEx CURL SVN Linux Bash and CRON |
