Job Description
| Responsibilities Works with business units to develop new applications integrate purchased software and support existing applications Responsible for all stages of project development including analysis and design development and testing implementation and documentation Additional responsibilities include 1Performs analysis for enhancements andor new applications 2 Collaborates with project lead andor customer to define scope and identify interdepartmental impacts 3 Approaches analysis with a divisional mentality versus a site only mentality 4 Provides estimates on projects to include highlevel requirements level of effort and costs 5 Performs design coding testing and implementation on project requests 6 Maintains existing application systems to provide technical support to resolve production problems and respond to user requests if needed 7 Utilizes knowledge of project methodologies and project life cycle from the development of requirements through user acceptance and implementation Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business (or equivalent combination of education and experience) minimum of 5 years related work experience ability to handle multiple projects at one time think independently and formulate solutions to complex business problems strong communication and organization skills enthusiastic team player valued for initiative and ability to combine technical skills and project management activities adaptive and able to learn new applications and processes selfmotivated knowledgeable in COBOL JCL and DB2 NET programming (VB ASP) |
