| Guidepoint Global is an independent boutique research firm that provides customized primary research and consulting services to premier institutional investment firms that invest in the healthcare retail technology and industrials sector We provide our clients with customized tools to analyze the industry via the knowledge and insight of the professionals that make up our proprietary Network of Advisors Our clients include some of the worldrsquos leading private equity firms mutual funds hedge funds strategy consultancies market research pharmaceutical and biotech companies Through phone consultations facetoface meetings surveys and proprietary data products we provide our clients with the customized information solutions they need to make informed decisions Job Description Guidepoint Global is seeking a midlevel C Developer in the New York area The responsibilities offer an opportunity to work on complex development projects in a highly collaborative team environment The developer will play a key role in helping our development efforts and building our portfolio for a custom enterprise data analytics platform custom algorithmic and statistical data analysis and design of complex charts and graphs to visually represent diverse data sets Analyze design develop and troubleshoot new and existing applications according to established specifications Qualifications Must have 3yrs+ experience in C and NET 335 + Web applications and Windows application Experience using LINQ and AJAX is also very helpful Possess a solid understanding of HTML CSS XML JavaScript Object Oriented Design and good coding practices Understanding of relational database design and interaction via stored procedures Understanding of IIS server 3yrs+ experience on MSSQL 2008 Data Access through ADONET Experience in using VSS or other version control Must possess strong logical ability problem solving and debugging capabilities Should be able to handle large volume of data Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively and be a quick learner Have experience working on ntier MVC and MVP pattern Participate in design sessions to determine technical feasibility of solution Good written and verbal communication skills Pluses Knowledge of ChartFX SyncFusion Telerik and Crystal Report a plus Experience on software upgrade and maintenance process a plus To apply please send a resume and targeted cover letter (Subject C candidate) Resumes without a targeted cover letter will not be considered |
