| Position Details SUMMARY This position works as part of a team dedicated to the development implementation and support of the content management system that supports the primary Cox Communications web site and mobile applications The ideal candidate should have a strong software development background and have experience with all aspects of web design web production and content management This job will appeal to someone who is a high performing team player who takes initiative can think both strategically and functionally and can ensure quality on every project RESPONSIBILITIES 1 Provides first tier support for internal customers who use the content management solutions 2 Responsible for crafting and executing the Enterprise Content Management strategy 3 Creates and modify new and existing template solutions 4 Provides content management support for projects going through the software development lifecycle including defect resolution and file and code migrations 5 Supports virtualization and preview mechanisms 6 Creates modifies and manages installation and maintenance guides 7 Performs other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM 1 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis and Application Development OR 3+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree 2 2+ years in designdevelopment with content management systems 3 3+ years of Perl or related scripting language 4 Experience with Unix Operating System 5 Experience using Javascript HTML XHTML XMLXSLT and eForms 6 Strong analytical problem solving skills 7 Ability to write thorough and accurate technical documentation 8 Requires excellent communication decisionmaking interpersonal and analytical skills as well as the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and with clients 9 Proven background of hitting businessdependent deadlines 10 Experience applying software development methodology and standard project management practices and methodologies PREFERRED 1 BABA is a related discipline strongly preferred 2 Experience with Interwoven TeamSite and Open Deploy and Virage MediaBin is desired 3 Experience using Java Microsoft Server 2003 and NET is ideal 4 Experience with portals application servers commerce platforms would be a plus 5 Experience using Microsoft Office products is preferred COMPANY OVERVIEW Cox Communications and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers We have a tradition of encouraging a wide diversity of talents through a broad range of hiring practices Please note those individuals submitting resumes online or by mailing a resume are not considered an applicant for employment until a signed employment application form is completed usually at the time of interview For more information about Cox Communications and its subsidiaries please click here wwwcoxcom wwwcoxmediacom wwwcoxbusinesscom Statement to ALL Third Party Agencies and Similar Organizations Cox Communications accepts resumes only from agencies with which we formally engage their services Please do not forward resumes to our applicant tracking system Cox Communications employees or send to any Cox Communications facility Cox Communications is not responsible for any fees or charges associated with unsolicited resumes |
