| Position Title IT Services Manager Company Overview CRES Insurance Services is an 18 year old progressive insurance company We offer a great working environment and are moving to a new building in early 2013 to create an open workspace environment where people can collaborate and work freely We have a set of core values that make sure all employees are treated with respect and also understand how and why they are here and what is expected of them We are ever growing and plan to triple our revenues over the next 5 years by employing technology efficiencies and features Position Overview Reporting to the CIO this position acts the head of IT infrastructure for CRES CRES is not looking for just another engineer We are looking for an entrepreneur and a leader that has a head for technology and solving business problems with technology solutions As head of IT Infrastructure the employee will be charged with 3 key responsibilities including 1 Maintain and keep all systems operating with 99+ uptime and add new valuable technologies to help CRES achieve its goals 2 Manage the helpdesk people processes and solve problems 3 Grow manage and administer the IT Consulting arm of CRES (CRES IT Services) by providing existing insurance clients and prospects with a technology support service package as a CRES product using existing help desk labor resources and tools The above responsibilities will allow for the employee to have autonomy over these areas as well as have a flexible schedule and let them decide which tools and resources are needed to accomplish company goals Freedom responsibility with accountability and high expectations are resident with this position Technical Skills Proficiencies Required Cisco Switch andor ASA as well as general switching and router technologies NetApp Storage (SANNAS) technologies Active Directory GPO VMWare vSphere management and maintenance Backup Exec SQL 2008 Exchange 20037 Windows XP Windows Server 2003 and 2008 Cloud architecture Beneficial Monitoring SNMP SQL Monitoring Phone System ShoreTel experience a plus SIP experience is a plus VB6 NET programming experience Basic level Experience designing and developing procedures and policies for IT events IIS and ASPNET experience Security Audit experience Disaster Recovery Best practice regulatory requirements (SOX PCI etc) Helpdesk Processes and Management Preferred Certifications VCP (VMWare) CCENT or CCNA MCSAMCITP Required Soft Skills Experience Leadership skills Excellent communication skills Well organized precise with very high quality standards Selfreliant and Selfsufficient to meet goals independently Responsible conscientious in getting the job done on time on budget and within specifications Extroverted with the ability to initiate and facilitate discussions meetings Flexible open to change experiments to achieve results Compensation Along with a base salary + IT Services sales incentives the employee will receive employer paid healthcare dental disability insurance and profit sharing We also provide 401(k) employee deferral and 15 days vacationsick leave during the first year |
