| An IT management firm has an amazing opportunity for a hard working professional We are looking for an experienced and business oriented Application Information Systems administrator who possesses a strong desire to succeed As Application Information Systems Administrator you will be responsible for insuring the clients business needs and requirements are properly identified analyzed and documented You will be required to develop proposed solutions implementation plans and provide training for all levels of users You will be required to control the project plan and alert key personnel of possible changes that may be required Responsible for the overall performance maintenance implementation and security of the clients Technology infrastructure The successful applicant would possess the following skills and abilities 2+ years in ERP software implementation and training Practical experience in MRPERP applications Knowledge of SQL and Report Writers preferred Basic understanding of CRM and APS applications Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 applications Have the ability to decipher and analyze business needs and requirements of clients Broad knowledge of business processespractices in a variety of industries Have strong understanding of accounting and manufacturing procedures terminology and standard practices Basic project management skills Exceptional integrity and unbiased organizational focus conflict resolution skills and diplomacy Outstanding interpersonal organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain and manage concurrent projects at any one time Capability to work within a team environment Excellent oral and written communication and presentational skills Willing to display confidence in an everchanging unpredictable in technology and theories Installation configuration maintenance and support of ERP systems including Solution Manager SAP Syspro and associated components and 3rd party tools Automating administrative and operational systems support functions Provide training and direction to other operational support team members Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated issues Participate in crisis meetings as necessary Maintain technical knowledge of ERP components and architecture Key Responsibilities Supervise Help Desk Administrator Responsible for the oversight direction planning implementation and coordination of all IT technologies and technical services within the clients network Responsible for ensuring IT software and systems environments are current with technology standards Manage all network applications and services (Access SQL ERP (Syspro) DNS WINS AD Terminal Srvs File Print Svcs etc) Ensure that the implementations in IT are in line with the current business requirements and future goals of the company Provide strategic operational direction guidance and leadership for network architecture and administration Provide oversight of day to day operations as well as disaster recovery solutions Develop and maintain all systems servers workstations security network configurations and other electronic communication devices Troubleshoot network and desktop performance issues Manage company email system (MSExchange) antivirus management (Kaspersky) and spam email filtering management(Barracuda) Oversee backup procedures and maintain disaster recovery plans Support and enforce company information policies and procedures Manage VPN services ensuring corporate security and connectivity between remote users and sites Recommend purchases upgrades patches and new applications and equipment Maintain software inventory and tagged asset management Deploy and manage printing services to all corporate users and network printers Maintain the corporate website intranet sites FTP server and other external devices and be the primary contact for all associated IT related vendors To provide operational support and maintenance support for IT Product Lines for hardware and software to endure highlevel of availability performance security for server application and infrastructure components across the enterprise Provide operation and administrative support for hardware software and projects which may encompass breakfixrepairs server upgrades installations and deployments and contact with external vendors Deliver end user operational support and manage problem resolution through effective communication referral and followup Performance testing monitoring analysis and resolution of availability performance capacity and security Meet SLA metrics Customer focus understanding of project management methodology process orientated and has a global perspective in a widely diverse and dynamic environment Participate in the operations planning and transition activities to enable the management of distributed computing infrastructure components across the enterprise Functions include server patching software distribution building new virtual or physical environments configuration management documentation IT asset management security management monitoring fault management change management and trouble management This administrator proactively monitors the production environment to ensure user satisfaction and anticipates new requirements based on changing business needs and new trends in technology This position
