Job Description

Established New York City Metro area residential developerbuilder has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced IT professional to supervise and coordinate activities and operations of technical supporthelp desk department and staff and provide oversight of daytoday operations Candidate must be committed to excellence and high standards DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Organizes directs and monitors daily activities of help desk staff and provide oversight of the dayto day activities of IT department Distributes workload to help desk team monitors and reviews performance Performs help desk staff duties as needed Assists in the implementation and installation of new remote offices Monitors service calls to observe help desk staffs demeanor technical accuracy and conformity to company policies provides feedback as needed Monitors and analyzes productivity of help desk staff generates reports based on analysis Fields questions from help desk staff and clients recommends solutions to customerend user issues Compiles status and workvolume reports for management Maintains records of help desk requests and complaints Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of computer product information Performs other duties as assigned by manager QUALIFICATIONS Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills 35 years of IT management experience along with supervising helpdesk teams Experience in a Real Estate DevelopmentProperty Management environment is a definite plus Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates Strong organizational problemsolving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed Demonstrated ability to work across business units Ability to manage priorities and workflow Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Creative flexible and innovative team player Manage time and workload juggling multiple priorities Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles theories concepts and practices in the applicable area of engineeringtechnical specialization Proficiency in Windows XP and 7 Pro Ms Office 2003 2010 Windows Server 20032008 Toshiba Copiersscannersprinters LANWAN VPNs WiFi 3G4G Lenovo PCs HPBrother printers IBM System X servers Backup Systems Avaya IP Office Phone Systems BlackBerryIPhonesMDMs Proficiency in Timberline and Yardi are definite pluses REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONCERTIFICATION Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field Windows and Exchange Server Certifications preferred TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Travel 2040 of the time to Job Sites and other offices in the NY Metro Area Valid Drivers License and own automobile required We are an equal opportunity employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion gender gender identity or expression sexual orientation national origin genetics disability age or veteran status Disclaimer Nothing in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time Please submit a cover letter and salary requirements with your resume to lgallettilmdevpartnerscom Visit our website at lmdevpartnerscom
