Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The development Team Lead provides the detailed technical guidance and mentoring in an environment where the smartest most productive and fun to work with software professionals are motivated to do their best work This role is experienced handson technical leadersmentorscoaches with a strong desire to work on agile teams (with Scrum) following testdriven extreme programming and lean software development principles Specific responsibilities include Effective communication of technical product details and best practices Provide technical expertise to ensure that the design implementation and results meet the business and product requirements Work closely with PMO QA and Product Management teams to ensure release schedule through scope control design and pragmatic and results orientated technical decisions Drive problem definitions refinements and decisions throughout the product and software development lifecycles Superior analytical problem identification and resolution skills Experience with Scrum (or another agile methodology) is required Comfort with working in a fastpaced changing environment Supervises leads and directs technical teams and deployment activities Responsible for assigning tasks establishing and maintaining taskproject schedules and maintaining liaison between appropriate project team members to ensure effective coordination of all project delivery efforts Perform code reviews of team members PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications and skills Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceElectrical EngineeringInformation Systems or related discipline desired Minimum of 8 years of software development experience Must be able to create specifications and perform related analysis of highly complex information systems issues Experience with full software development lifecycle (requirements definition analysis design construction testing and implementation) Proven track record of successfully leading medium to large teams Solid customer facing experience and ability to collaborate and deliver customer driven results Excellent time management and organizational skills and be responsive to cross functional team members and senior management Excellent writing communication and teamwork skills required Desire to be a team player and leader that contributes to the teams success and companys growth Experience working with SCRUM agile framework Strong proven skills in HTML and XHTML XML Macromedia Dreamweaver CSS Style Sheets JavaScript Ajax Java Python Net web services Other programming languages are a plus Experience testing web based database applications Excellent SQL experience Strong data modeling skills KEY LEADERSHIP CHARACTERISTICS Learning on the
